Newly developed in vitro evaluation method
for the UV protection efficacies of sunscreens
Highly reproducible and accurate in vitro evaluation method is expected to be developed for UV protection efficacies of sunscreens. Hydrophilic polysaccharide coated super-hydrophilic quartz plate is used for the method introduced here. Unlike the conventional test method that uses PMMA plate, this method is available for hydrophilic sunscreen samples that have good reputations recently.
