One-third of patients with depression do not respond to usual treatment due to the high heterogeneity of the pathophysiology. Closed-loop rTMS combined with EEG response to local brain stimulation by TMS enables us to determine optimal treatment parameters depending on their brain state and develop precision rTMS for this illness.
